PROPERTY Description
If you are looking for a relaxing resort home getaway, look no further. LQ152 is a north-facing 3-bedroom, plus den with queen size sofa bed, 3-bath home overlooking the 12th tee of the Nicklaus Private Course at PGA West is an entertainer?s delight with Great Room, a separate dining area, and a bar with sink, wine refrigerator and storage rack.
The master bedroom features double sinks, a soaking tub and a large walk-in closet. The casita (across the interior courtyard) is very private, featuring a queen bed, a full bath, TV, and Wi-Fi access. The guest room in the house has another queen bed and is adjacent to the full hall bath. If you need to do laundry, there is a washer and dryer, and an iron and ironing board are provided. The den with the sofa bed has another TV, a desktop computer for your use, and Wi-Fi service is throughout the house.
Relax in the private back yard with beautiful mountain and golf course views, private salt water pool and spa, covered patio and adjacent gas BBQ, outdoor fridge and fire pit. There is plenty of space to sunbathe and a relaxing shaded area for outside dining, with a greenbelt area for privacy and walking just off the patio. Enjoy the ambiance of the mountains lighted at night and majestic star gazing from the patio.
Three championship golf courses (Dye, Nicklaus and Norman) and two clubhouses and restaurants are nearby for your enjoyment. The recently remodeled Stadium Clubhouse also has a market and a bar in addition to a great restaurant. The Stadium and Nicklaus Tournament courses are frequent hosts to the PGA Qualifying School. The PGA West Palmer and Nicklaus Private courses host the Annual PGA Tour Hope Classic Tournament every January. The famous La Quinta Resort, with its world-renowned spa and 2 additional golf courses, is minutes away. Silver Rock golf course, part of the PGA Hope Classic rotation, is 5 minutes away.
If shopping is in order, the River and El Paseo are minutes away, and there are more restaurants than you can count, including Arnold Palmer?s 5 minutes away. The Living Desert is to be experienced by anyone who is new to the area, and if you want to gamble or catch a show, there are numerous casinos available.

Stayed for 10 days in May, 2016 My wife and I had a wonderful 10-day vacation at this golf course home on the Nicklaus private course at PGA West. The weather in early May was warm but not uncomfortable, and I was able to play two of the PGA West public courses in the afternoons at reasonable prices and with no crowds. The home was as advertised--spacious, well maintained, generally very clean and with a lovely pool and spa. Royale Vacation Rentals, the property manager, was very professional. Our only minor issues with the home were that the kitchen and wet bar countertops were dirty when we checked in, and the back yard is not fenced to the golf course, thus making it impossible to let our dog roam the back yard (we knew about this before we rented). La Quinta is a great base from which to explore the desert. We found some excellent restaurants and enjoyed walking with our dog throughout the PGA West community in the mornings. By this time many of the part-time residents had left for their winter homes, but everyone we met was friendly. We would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.Overall Satisfacation
