PROPERTY Description
This romantic studio puts you right in the middle. It?s close to downtown Ojai, Ventura, Surfer's Point, Lake Casitas , Las Padres National Forest and Santa Barbara - the Highway 150 provides the most beautiful scenic drive to Santa Barbara, and the Highway 33 is a short drive to Ojai in the North, and Ventura Beach in the South for sunshine and surf.
INSIDE THE RENTAL
From the private driveway, make your way to the front door, where you?ll find an Adirondack bench and an outdoor bistro table at the entry.
Just inside the home, a small table is the perfect spot for morning coffee and the newspaper. You will also find a stackable washer and dryer, a mini fridge, coffee pot, and storage behind the drapes.
The practical kitchenette has everything you need to cook up meals and snacks, including gas stove/oven, microwave, toaster, pots and pans, and dishware. A small counter offers additional seating for 2.
Stunning décor outfits the bedroom area, where neutral, white, and gray bedding and colorful accessories create a chic ambiance. The room comes with high ceilings with exposed beams, four-poster memory-foam queen bed, desk with arm chair, and flat-screen TV with streaming device. A hip heating element provides warmth on cooler days, as well as a romantic atmosphere. You will also find an AC unit for the summer months.
A glass barn door leads to the en-suite bathroom boasting a walk-in shower with a waterfall shower head and modern vessel sink.
French doors lead out to the stone patio, fully enclosed with stained wood fence and landscaped with various fruit trees, a palm tree, succulents and a beautiful mature tree, providing shade in the summer months. Several patio chairs welcome you to sit and put your feet up, and the hammock is the perfect spot for a nap or good book. This property is very private, secluded and quiet.
THE LOCATION
Take the afternoon and head to downtown Ojai (10 minutes), the Shangri La of California. The quaint village is chocked full of boutiques, shops, art galleries, healthy cafes, wineries and restaurants for you to explore.
Fun and hip Ventura is only a 10-minute drive down the freeway and has several great beaches for sunbathing, swimming, and surfing. You?ll want to see the Ventura Pier and Promenade, where kids of all ages will love all the sights and sounds.
It is the exactly the same distance of 3.5 miles to the lake and to the beach. Let the wind blow through your hair and sun warm your skin from the deck of a boat on Lake Casitas (5 minutes). The recreational area also has disc golf, water park, and wildlife and bird watching.
The doorway to Las Padres National Forest is just minutes away. There, you can hike over 1,200 miles of trails, taking in the incredible mountain views and keeping an eye out for local wildlife.

Stayed for 3 days in January, 2018 The rental company was very attentive and supportive throughout the stay. The place was cute, quiet and the perfect size. The outdoor place was great for morning coffee and nights out on the hammock.Absolutely Adorable!
Stayed for 8 days in January, 2018 I had an extended stay in the Ojai area and this was a better option for me than a hotel. I used the fridge, stove and washer/dryer. I sat in the serene back yard and only wished I had a reason to use the grill. I had a couple of hiccups with a missing hairdryer and a washing machine mishap but the management company responded promptly and made everything right. What you see in the photos is what you get when you arrive. Bed was comfy. Linens and towels were clean.
