PROPERTY Description
There's nothing more enjoyable than the privacy of a vacation home when comparing amenities to that of hotel rooms or condo multi-plex. VILLA AMELIA is located in a newly built subdivision just north of the bustle of downtown Palm Springs, yet far enough away for quiet seclusion and total privacy.
Our 15 x 30ft. Pool & Spa with 10” deep tanning shelf commands a spectacular view of the San Jacintos mountain range and tram station at its peak. The entire house has been tiled in Italian stone slate to help keep the house cool during the warmer months. The home decor includes an eclectic mix of contemporary and Spanish motifs, along with Leather Furniture, a Rustic Flagstone Fire Place, and an elegant dinning area for six. The TV entertainment area is adjacent the bright clean kitchen, perfect for staying in the conversations while preparing the munchies for your guests or family.
Multi-party guests may have trouble deciding who gets the Master with its King sized bed, 27' cable TV and imac internet access work desk. The spacious master bath offers a 'his & her' sink vanity, and separate toilet room. In addition to its larger size and master amenities, the room also boasts French doors right off the patio deck for those quick mid-night pool dips. The Second and Third bedrooms share the hall bathroom with full shower/tub, toilet and single sink vanity. Both rooms have Queen beds with medium firm matresses and 3' thick foam matress pads. Thread counts on all bedroom sheets are between 400 - 600, and are covered in stylish comforter bedding. ...Should you have an unexpected overnight guest in addition to the Party of 6, we also have a Sofa-Sleeper in family area.

Overall Satisfacation
Port Orchard, Wa.relaxing week!
Jim C. from Port Orchard, Wa. Stayed in October, 2012 Jon has done a great job with this house. The pool area is outstanding and both Jon and his caretaker were great to work with! The location is very close to downtown Palm Springs, the tram, and there is a grocery store(and Starbucks) within a 5 minute walk! I strongly suggest the tram ride and a hike on the mountain! The only minor drawback is the airport is fairly close...and a plane would fly over at 6:18 every morning:) When we come back to Palm Springs, we will rent this unit again!!Overall Satisfacation

The pool and spa were as advertised -- fantastic. There was no hassle about arriving and departing (although, my only criticism of the entire stay was that the time of departure was inconsistent: on some of the documents it said 10:30am, on others 11:00, and on our check-in email it was listed as 10:00). Thanks to John for lending us his beautiful place for 3 days.Overall Satisfacation

We easily checked in off hours with his simple to follow, easy directions. His Palm Springs home is a nice retreat from the daily grind. The private backyard with its pool and spa were my family's favorite part. The three bedrooms were comfortable (heads up-one bedroom is separated from the hallway by a curtain as opposed to a door) and clean. The kitchen is small but does the job and has newer applicances. The home also has a washer and dryer. Very nearby are parks and a shopping center with a grocery store. These ammenities are within walking distance. We'd love to work with Jon and visit him home the next time we have the chance to return to the area.Great private get-away!!

The Carpenters from Glendora Stayed in May, 2013 My family rented the home for memorial weekend. We visit Palm Springs many times each year but always stay in a hotel. Renting this home was the best decision, we loved it! The manager met us at our scheduled time to show us around the house and how everything worked. The three bedrooms were all very comfortable and tastefully furnished. The pool is wonderful with a water feature and tanning shelf, we spent all of our time outside relaxing and enjoying the view. We used the BBQ, cooked , the home has everything you need. A welcome basket with wine and snacks was waiting for us when we arrived. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back
