Head to Lookout Park for a dip in the Pacific and to catch some rays, or arrange horseback rides nearby at Los Padres Outfitters - just a 12-minute walk from home.
For good eats and boutique shopping, head to Summerland?s main street. The top local hot-spots are both burger joints: Tinker?s Burgers and Stacky?s Seaside.
And if you?re heading into Santa Barbara, check out the Old Mission, which offers tours of the religious site and its many artifacts, or spend a day at the Santa Barbara Zoo with the kids. You can also explore the famed Lotusland, a garden teeming with cacti and succulents.

Stayed for 2 days in September, 2017 I had a wonderful time at Lazy Hummingbird, I wish I could have stayed a little longer. We did have the fire alarm from the bedroom go off several times after taking a hot shower. We were also asked to throw in the towels in the washer and the trash. I would have preferred to have someone do that after we left. Other than that, we had a great relaxing time. My favorite part of the house was the balcony and the garden. I loved the fact that the garden was available for us to use, I will definitely take advantage of that next time we visit.Overall Satisfacation

Stayed for 2 days in May, 2018 I am a homeowner in Summerland undergoing a renovation. I need a regular place to stay when i come up to meet with architect/contractor. This is the absolute best place i have ever stayed - outside of a 5 star hotel. the property is perfectly situated, beautifully decorated, million dollar view, all the amenities you need for a short or long stay.
